My Studio

Always a work in progress, my silver smithing shop has lately been expanding by leaps and bounds.

I recently relocated and when I did, I added a 3rd table and restructured the layout of my workbench. These shots should give some idea of how things are laid out and also an appreciation for the kind of investment it takes to get a good bench running. I don't want to think about how much its cost me so far :)

Wide Shot This is a wide shot of the studio. You can see my torch working area to the left, flexshaft area to the center, buffing station in the corner and the bench pin to the far right Add Comment Views: 1398	Flex Shaft Here you can see my flexshaft mounted into a drillpress assembly. Great for stone setting. Also shown are some stone setting and undercut burs. Also have some drill bits and diamond point grinding bits as well. Add Comment Views: 463	Buffing Wheel Buffing station. Also shown are some assorted polishing compounds. I like to try different ones from time to time to see what works best. Proper breathing masks are a must when using polishing compound!
